It's been an on-going ordeal and it's not good... But my truck runs at such a high rpm that I'm afraid my engine will blow after a certain amount of time on the interstate. Me and some other guys talked about this and came to the conclusion that maybe it's not going into overdrive, sounds like it's in 2nd gear redlining after nonstop it goes up above 60-65mph or so, hince the exageration. Just wondering if anybody else has heard of this or if it has even happened to them. I can't think of anything else to do to try and fix the problem, which is fucking useless since I don't know what the problem is to being with. It's a junkyard bought engine, 4.3 V6 auto with "85,000 miles" or so on it when I got it, close to 95,000 or 100,000 now maybe... Any clues guys?...
PS: It runs decently on local roads.. 50mph and under...
