ok, does anyone know what is different between 88 and 89 c3500 duelie as far as control arms / ball joints / spindels from an 88 to 89 (ext cab, new body style)? certian manufactures have 88 only parts and some say 88 to like 2000 or 92 to 2000. I'm running into a problem with aftermarket lower control arms that they claim will fit a 88 to like 2000 1ton c3500. They are too narrow to fit into the pockets on the frame for the mounts, the company claims there OEM parts supplyer says the OEM peice they have for jig making purposes fits my truck, but it's atleaste 1/2 inches off as well as the upper control arms, but they claim now that they sent me the wrong uppers. i have pictures if it will help. also someone might have said something about 88 to 89 changing the ball joint taper where it meets the spindel? any ideas? thanks.
