zc dohc to a vtec?

Is this possible? I feel real dumb, I really dont know much about Honda's yet, but I'm looking at a civic hatch with a zc and I'm wondering what it would take to make it vtec, or if I'd be better off spending money elsewhere on the engine to get power?

I think that your best bet to turn that into a vtec is to us a skunk2 racing camshaft. My friend has it in his delsol and he thing is a monster.
