new bed on a 92 s-10 will it work?

Can anybody help me out on this.I have a 92 S-10,and i want to shave the body line and put a new body S-10 step side bed on it.Will this work i dont want to buy the bed and it cant work.Anybodys help is apprecieted. Thanks!
