TRANNY CROSSMEMBER

i could have sworn i saw a picture of someones stock crossmember that they just cut off the bottom of it until it was above the bottom of the frame and then plated it. i may be mistaken, but i was wondering if that could be done, or do i have to buy a new one?

and can anybody find that picture.

dont be cheap, buy or make one.

this one? i was kind of thinking about doing this too but from looking at my truck from underneath it seems as though building a new one would almost be as much work.
