what type of rear bag configuration is best for a high HP application (300+ hp) in a pickup? Over the axle, on the front link bars, or a 5 link style similar to Seths.....

i think a solid 2-link with a panhard bar would be strong and bag it o-t-axle! i know a guy that has done it and works great

parallel would be better for drag race application, and putting the bags 1:1 over the axle would probably be best.

If you just want to go in a straight line a parallel 4-link is your best bet, with a panhard or watts link, and running bags directly on the axle.
