?? Fixing a ding in inner lip of rim ??????

I have a pretty good size bend/ding in the inside lip of one of my wheels and the tire is leaking air at that spot(obviously) Does anyone have a suggestion on how to go about fixing this so the tire holds air or am I better off taking it to someone who does this for a living???
