weber carbs

how does the 2200 run with a weber 38/38? its the synchronous carb. will it need to be jetted down? if so, what size jets should be good. its on a stock motor. the only reason a 38/38 is gonna be used is b/c my friend got it for $20. so, gonna rebuild and slap it on. just dont want the motor to be over-carbd.
