throw out bearing

heres whats up my transmission works cuz i was working on my truck and it decided to drive away on me but heres the prob.when i put my truck in gear it drives right up untill i pull the clutch all the way out then my truck instanly stops(there are skidmarks in my drive way!) and shuts off im thinking its my throwout bearing and my clutch just doesnt want to move. and yes there is fluid in my tranny i really need help cuz im not trying to get screwed by some mechanic and im dying to go out draggin soon!
