hey.
at the moment i have some old ford 15" wheels for rolling stock and they rub the fender thru travel and only just clear when the control arm is packed the whole way up.
so what sort of offest should i be ordering for new wheels? +40?
i think ill go for some 18"s with a 35series rubber, they should fit under the hood.

thanks

40mm should work,as long as your not doored it should fit fine I'm 3.50 laying flat rocker and mine come to the top of the fenders.

+40 will work well on a 7" wide wheel. 7.5 needs a minimum of +45 and its a tight squeeze, +48 is a little better. Running an 8" wide wheel is out of the question unless you can find one with a +60 offset or more. Those measurements will give you enough room to roll tucking tire without burning your paint off. But you can't turn much really. Just sweeping freeway turns.

what he said,my old 17's were 8 inch wide, but they were front wheel drive, lol

This is a completely different truck. Our trucks are about 2" narrower than yours, with the same width suspension.

oh ok,didn't even look at the year, lol. that sucks kinda narrows down the wheel selection a bit.
