Built it, bought it, paid for it???

Ok, Me and some friends were sitting around not to long ago and we got on this subject. No we would like some of your views.

If you build a truck well... as long as its built right your a little above the guy that sent his truck off if you ask me.

Now the big question we had was this. What is the difference between the guy that buys a stock truck sends it to a shop and writes the check to get all the work done. And the guy that just writes the check for the truck thats already done?? I dont think there is any. But thats just me.

Now heres a question for shop owners or guys that do work on there friends trucks. Say you bag and do a bunch of work on a friends or customers truck then a year or so latter that guy puts the truck up for sale. You buy it. Now you did all the work to it, so you are the one that built it? So now that would mean you got a truck you built right? Yes its John Q's old truck but it dont realy fall in the bought it like that section does it?

Just woundering what you guys think.
