The toyota a/c unit is a great idea for anyone is wanting their finished bodydrop to be more comfortable. Anyone who has done it right, proves they know their shit.(The fan unit is under the dash)
I stock floored a 2000 ranger and I recommend ditching the ford spindles and swapping them with toyota along with some custom control arms upper and lower, because the lower balljoint on the ford arm is flipped around the opposite way as the toy spindle. you can also swap the whole clip like that guy did. only thing is, you go from a rack and pinion to a drag link. It won't be bad it's just not the most high-tech route. I also am a big fan of hiding your motor under your hood. I have a stock floored 93 toy bodydropped 4 1/4" with a stock hood. I had to section the oil pan, shorten the oil pickup tube, drop the motor mounts, and drop down the drag link in the middle. you also should replace your stock lower control arm crossmember with a piece of thick ass steel. something like 3/8 or more depending on how much clearance you need.
