hydro pump ?

so yesterday i was driving my truck and the front pump was acting sluggish and sounded a little funny, so leaving work i lifted it up to head home to park her, i noticed there was oil dripping out of a small hole on the back of the motor. im assuming it is a seal and hoping i dont need a new motor, so if anyone can give me some advice and instructions that would be great.

Sound like the seal to me bro! When I had hydraulics on my 88 Toyota I had the same thing happen to me. The seal between the motor & the pump block goes bad & that allows oil to leak through & get into the motor. Id look into that & if the motor has oil all in it be sure to clean it too!
