Quick question!

When you lower a long bed 81 in the rear with blocks, do they have to be angled or straight?
about 3-4 inches.
Have to drop static for now...when i get the wifes van and my s-10 paid off next year ill look into air for it.

Ive used both straight & angled blocks...both work fine. When I had the 3-inch blocks on my truck they were the straight kind & now that Ive got 4's on it they are angled. The angled blocks do help with keeping the rear axle at the right angle...so if you go more than 3 inches then I do the angled blocks.

A buddy of mine used to have an S-10 with angled blocks and he went through universal joints like crazy. I used 4" straight blocks when mine was static dropped and they worked fine.

If going with 3in. straight is ok. I would use angled 4in blocks just make sure the smaller side is pointing forward. You should also never use cast aluminum blocks. I usuallly use cast iron blocks with steel pins bought at my local 4x4 store.
