05 Ranger STX ???

My buddy just bought an 05 STX ranger. He bought some wheels for it and wants to drop it a little. I am thinkin that these are torsions up front. If they are can I crank em down and block the back, or am I wrong. I dont see any kits for the 05 yet. He is going to bag it soon but just wants to dust some wheel gap for now. Is this correct on the 05?? Is it a torsion setup?? Thanks!!

I have an STX. I just used the regular DJM 4/5 drop kit for mine. Worked like a charm.

yea i did some research and found they arejust a mazda bed and iffy lookin front bumper and some int part stuff..

Yeah totally right. Inside they have the spiffy looking carbon fiber bezel and the sporty lil seats. Mine is the sonic blue paint and the seats are blue to match. Its pretty awesome looking

Ok people here it is on the rangers after 97 the 4X2 has coil springs and the 4X4 has torsion bars and they do have the STX in both. So you need to know which model your friend has 4X2 OR 4X4. If it is 4X2 any kit will work but, if 4x4 you can crank the adjusters on the torsion bars.
