mcpherson strut

okay heres the dilemma...i hear u need a pivot point o your suspension when u have this setup stock....when u go to adjustable suspension im talkin. my thing is....this is prolly one of the first ever lol being its a 1971 super beetle. the first year for super beetles. do i need a pivot point or was i thinking wrong. how hard is it to fab up something to work instead of buyin some rediculous piece that is over priced.
