let me clear up "Lazy" in most cases "Most being when guys put there stock tank in the bed and run with it" people just bolt or strap a tank in the bed, and yes my opinion on that is its lazy, hell they featured a truck in a magazine not to long ago that had the stock tank in the bed against the cab.
its lazy, it looks bad, and i see it as cutting corners. "my opinion"
First off to whoever said there is nowhere you can put your nozzle if you shave your gas door. Come on we are customizers find a place theres a lot of options like in the bed floor, in the wheel well in the bed, top of the bed rail, roof, behind the tail light, behind license plate, in the door jam, the options are almost endless use some creativity.
And to the guy who says a tank in the bed is lazy. A gas stock tank in a bed may be lazy but if it is a temp. solution then it is ok, Some people like the look of a aluminum fuel cell so they mount it in the bed so how is that lazy? they went out and purchased something custom and want to show it off.
A tank in the bed is not my style but to each its own. Thats what this sport is all about right?
