me and my brother had F100s in the 80s and the easiest way and cheapest way to lay it out and bag it at the same time is to cut the frame off and install a Torino front clip, the Ford motor will still fit and you have spring type arms that can be adapted to bags with just cups.
a Mustang II setup is way expensive.
the body drop is easy too. the frame hangs down below the cab only where your feet are, just simply cut the section of the frame where it hangs down below and plate it. its about a 3 foot piece thats about 2 inches or so tall. easy to do. or you can change out the cab mounts and install energy suspension low profile cab mounts. they are only like 18 bucks each and polyurethane. that will give you a couple inches of drop in the floor and still keep the stock frame section under the cab.
I had a convertible F-100 with a 460 and a torino frame clip and it was like 2.5 inches off the ground with no adjustable suspension.
