Shock Location matter?

Alright on my truck I have bag on bar,my bags are pretty close to the front of the bar and with ou killing all my lift could I go from my bag "bridge" bar to my lower 4-link bar. Will the shocks still work correctly? I'm trying not to make it look to busy around my axle. I have 1" and 1/2 DOM with 1/2" wall so bar strength shouldn't be a problem

yes you can put the shocks on the 4 link but keep in mind the closer to the axle the more responsive or better working they will be. So I wouldnt go any close than half way up your bars.
