body drop with v8

i have a 87 yota and im putting a 302 in it i was wondering if any one has body drop one with a v8 i set the 302 in there today and it is a full im taking the cab off tomorrow im trying to fig out if i want to stock floor it what do yall think

If you have the time, patience, and skill............and money, then I would stock floor it. That's the one thing I am completely satisfied with about my truck.

i have time to do it im not in a hurry i just want to make sure i do it right and make it look good i was thinkin i will prob have to cut little of the firewall to make the trans fit i like stock floor better

yah, definitely not going to have a completely stock floor.

How was the fitment of the 302? Did the oil pan hit the crossmember or anything?

the only thing it was hitting was the steering bar but i was going to make some motor mounts for it i think im just going to buy some bc they are bolt on
