Can some one please tell me the with of a 4x4 rearend. Out side of drum to drum not including any hub centering. Thank you so much ,I have a mits 6 lug and are looking for a narrower 6 lug and know that your 5 lug is narrower than my 6. Apprecciate it

Unless the 2wd & 4wd units are different & Im thinking they are not, but Ill check to make sure this what the axles length are...

73-78 ~ 53"
79-83 ~ 55"
84-88 ~ 57"
89-95 ~ 58.5"
95-04 ~ 60"

i think ^^^ numbers are kind of off. well not off, but incomplete. lol

my 79 stock toy axle measures right about 56.25" wms to wms. i have a stock 86 (8" axle i believe, it was a 4 speed truck) in the backyard, i'll try to measure that as well

and I just measure an 85 yota 2WD(5 lug) and it's 56" but I don't know if there is a difference in 4wd . My mits is 57 3/4 so anything around 56 to 56 1/2 would be good, that 1/2" on each side would do a lot for a tucked wheel.
