Drag slicks

I have a question that im hoping someone can help me with. I am wondering are there some kind of wheel for drag slicks with some kind of crazy offset or what not that i could run slicks on a ford 9" and tuck them up in the bed of a mazda b2200? if not and i have to run a shortened rear end then would i need custom wheels or is there something i could do to get just 7.5 or 8 in wide tires to look right. also i know with the slicks the bed will be cut out and i know it sounds crazy in a maz but hopefully i can say just trust me and show you all what im doing when it is presentable. thank you.
