My brother's 2000 Sonoma extended-cab has the "D"-shaped mirrors that GM used on the 99-03 s-series trucks. when I drive his truck over 40 mph, with any combination of the windows being opened, the wind blows very hard against the left side of my face. It is extremely annoying, because I like to drive with the windows down. it has had the problem since new, and vent-visors didn't seem to affect it at all. I believe the "turbulance" is caused by the mirrors, because when I fold them in, it stops.1) has anyone else noticed this problem?2) does changing to the streetscene-style mirrors help? 3) If "no" to question #2, is there any way to fix it?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks, RoB
