OK... i went to Texas Heatwave car show last weekend ..... show was badazz... dif one of the best shows around........
i drove my Nissan 760miles to this show and everything was fine go'n there and back other then LOUISANNA. i have driven my nissans to Tennessee, Florida, Ga , MS , and many other states...... but i have never encounter HWY's as BAD AS LOUISANNA's. Yes ive been on bad roads threw cities and some highways, but not threw the whole freak'n state be'n bad.........
i started in Alabama , road fine.. few bumps, then enter'd in MS. , road fine few bumps, but thennnn.... enter'd LOUISANNA Hwy 10 and hwy 12, it was HELL!!! the roads are not paved solid, its like made in links and with patches all over the road along with pot holes, i counted soo many stock rides off the the road with flat tires . The Speed liimit is bout 70mph , but damn , u cant drive that fast with a mini low protires......
i have shocks on my ride along with bags.... but the roads got soo bad and bounce'n my truck soooo bad that it made some wire go'n to my fuel tank come off the frame and get cought on my wheel and killed my truck .. so then i had to fix that .. then later got bounce'n soo bad come'n off a bridge that somehow it open my front valves and the frontend dump'd to the ground cause'n the valve to stick :? . so i had to take the front of my truck apart to get to the valve and take it apart and fix it.then once i got to the show i look'd at one of my tires , (yes it was old..but still had some tread) and the tread was seperating from the tires due to all the freak'n potholes... .....
soo after that we got to Texas....... then come'n home Monday.... OMG!!!!!
things were fine in Texas but then we hit LOUISANNA hwy again and drive'n slower and watch'n out for bumps, well....... i hit one bump hard and then wanted to slow down and NO BRAKES!! yes the brake line on my axle somehow broke!!! how the hell?? so i fixed that and look'n at some of my other tires and notice that my front tires had 3 bubbles stick'n out of the side!!!!!!!!!
after get'n out of LS i didnt have anymore problems........
BUT BEWARE...... LOUISANNA HIGHWAY 10 AND 12 SUCKS AZZ FOR MINIS!!!!
oh, need i not forget .. what the hell was up with the Louisanna 18mile bridge be'n ONE LANE? they were not work'n on the otherside, nothing was cut into ? but traffic was backed up for miles......
SORRY FOR THE NOVEL..... I JUST WANTED TO LET EVERYONE KNOW HOW BAD THE ROADS ARE... next year.... im Trailer'n my truck with my fullsize.. LOL
