anyone took the rear brakelines off?

I would like to take off the rear brake lines,that damn rod behind the axle looks shitty,any info?

yeah get a porpotioning valve off of a 84 and under that goes up under the brake booster mounts to the master cylinder

thanks man,my clutch master cylinder is pushed back 4 inches in the firewall,so how big is the porpotioning valve?

It's pretty small. Probably 3/4" x 1.5"x 1" tall. Just guessing off of mine though. You might have to bend up some tricky brake lines right off the master cylinder if it's recessed pretty far, but probably not if your stock lines worked fine.

I think I might have an extra one if you want it.
