i would also remount your lower bags and box the frame where they are mounted because they will keep you from laying out and thats gonna put alot of stress on your frame there.

I told the fabricator that did my truck that it didn't look right...and fo sho! When i lay out i lay two link not frame...he said that that is how I.F. in San Fernando does it... he said "thats the only way to two link an S-10"

Looks to me as if he mounted them off the leaf spring perches. Those will lay way before your frame ever will. should have done it a different way.

sounds like a buddy of mine that has a 2001 sonoma and puts on the 94 grill on his truck. think he wants a stepside bed next and convert it to a single cab like mine. this guy doesnt know what he wants. waist of time in my opinion. not for you cause your new to this as for your link bars put them on the inside of frame and get fuel cell and call it a day.

First of all, i asked for opinions on the grille....not the link bars. Yes he did use the leaf pearches..which i know isn't right! However i'm no fabricator, if i could redo it myself i would..as for the grill that is apples to oranges compared to suspension. I don't care what your friend did or if he's in decisive...i just need to know why i need to swap out the radiator support...and if there is anything else i need to do!

Hold on...lol...let me take my foot outta my mouth real quick.......OKAY, there! My bad dawg, i read it once and read it wrong....Once i read it the second time i realized how you were stating that! I am new to this so something that simple's aight with me. But as for the two link bars...how much do you think it'll cost to get that repaired?

Yeah radiator support has to be removed due to the diffrent mounting of the headlamps, and the newer grilles clip in where the older ones screw in. Enjoy doing the swap.

no hard feeling zach, as for the link bars inside your frame think you can use hangers off of fullsize chevy and weld them inside and run your 2 links off of that, going to have to box in frame to do your bag mounts and find a place for fuel cell. laters

What kinda shape is it all in? Is the outer edge (around where he phantom grill will go) chrome or is it black as well? And if you can come up with a Phantom i'd most likeley trade quick, fast, and in a hurry!
