whats up I got a 2002 gmc sonoma 50k miles with a 4 cyl. 2.2 engine its bagged with 20" wheels and a york engine driven comp. The problem is that the engine started running horrible. I took it to a shop and they said that that little 2.2 engine couldnt take all hat pressure with the 20's and that extra york comp.and that one of the cylinders was bad or it could be the ring but they have to open up he engine. WHAT SHOULD I DO CAN THIS REALLY HAPPEN OR IS IT BS.

Number of things here, yes I have the 2.2 as well AND HATE IT. If you are running your engine driven, and you also have AC and stereo and all that good jazz it will bog you down, but if you truck has no AC and you have that york it will only run for like 10-12 seconds and then it is done depending on the tank size. But this motor is slooooooow.

^ agreed. I rolled 22s and didn't have a problem, that soundslike complete BS. I hear that shit all the time when ever I took one of my trucks to the shop for some reason. "Oh your truck is breaking down cause of the tinted windows" they like to blame everything on whatever you have done to your truck. I was once told my wheel bearings were bad, but they never even took the wheel off to check. U gotta watch those shysters at mechanic shops, they are tricky.
