I cant really level my frame without it being a 1/16 or in someplaces an 1/8 of an inch off. Is this close enough? I'm thinking its ok but anymore than 1/8 somethings wrong but I might be wrong what do you guys think. (I'm leveling original frame 1st before I cut it from firewal).

^^^^ thinks a 4" bd on one side and a 5" on the other is a "custom" mod... HAHA

I leveled my frame rails both ways (front to back) and (side to side). But when I put my level on the front crossmember (behind the bumper)it isn't level, one side sits 1/8 inch lower. Is this ok. Sorry for the confusion hope this helps.

I am doing a stockfloor bd. I am building a new frame from the firewall back.

1/8 is quite a bit I would use a 4 or 6' level and cheeck at other points also. I would be more worried about side to side than f/b.

I know most people will just unbox the frame(were boxed) and then build it inside the old one and then cutting the old one off. (of coars you still have to watch levelness and frame twist due to weight proportion. wich that could be your issue stock frames will bend almost upto 1/8" due to what your standing off of.

(ex. you place jackstands under your fire wall the frame horns will sit about an 1/8" in proportion lower than norm in relative to the frame area behind it.
