what does everyone use to get the residue off of the truck when you peel these things off? Alcohol, lighter fluid, nothing seems to work. any ideas?

are u talking about the pinstripes that come stock on some trucks? take a razor blade and take it across ur back glass blade AWAY from the way ur going and push done, it kinda makes a tiny lip on the blade itself and run that along where everything is, then just sand it and buff the sanding marks out....i guess that would work. ive only taken the off of something gettng repainted.

You will need some adheasive remover. I use 3m as I have had other brands dis-color the paint. Use your finger/s wrapped in a cotton cloth and just rub till gone... then wax/buff the paint under.... and so on...

if your talkin about the foam tape thats usually half stuck on the truck when u take a molding off..u need to hit it with a 3m eraser wheel..mounts to a drill or similar rotary tool...takes off decals..tapes/stripes..and adhesives...still need to rub a little residue off with adhesive remover when your done..but its quick...just DO NOT use it on plastic/rubber/fiberglass..etc..it will burn thru it...and i duno what the hell framedragger was talkin about but dont do that lol...sounds like what you do to take out runs in your clear..u should not have to sand and buff it after removing a molding...

caramell wheel, made of rubber u stick it in a drill and it rubs the marks off then use a bit of prepsol that will take care of it.
yeah use a razor blade that works when u have to take off a plastic molding when its held on by double sided tape. then i usually use a stanly or box knife to do that because urr les liekly to cut yourself.
