94 Dakota Rear Question

The rear went in my 94 Dakota I heard from a few people this is a common problem on this truck.Anyway It is Std. Cab 2wd 4cyl 5spd it has a 10 bolt 6 lug rear.I was in the local salvage yard today a nd found a 92 Dakota Ext. Cab 2wd 8cyl 10 bolt 6 lug rear.Will this work for my truck will I run into any issues?Thanks

The gear ratio is diffrent. I don't think you would have enough motor for the gears. I'm about get another dak for parts where you from I might be able to sell you the rear end out of it
