the drop spindles on AIM industries (www.truckn.com) have a warning with them that they are to be only used with OEM wheel offset. Any further offset could break the spindle. Any one have this happen or they just covering they're a$$es? from what I have heard, my friends that have them, haven't had any problems with them, BUT they are running stock wheels for now. So anyone have any problems or horror stories from AIM?

I've heard you CANT run stock wheels with them or the wheel will hit the steering tie rod....but thats on a mazda...what vehicle are you referring to??

I've had a set on my fullsize for 6 years now and their still good, ive had stock steel, 98 alluminum rally's, and now billet 17 inch Eagles. I think their just cya (covering their a**es). Maybe if you put some reversed 13 inch spokes on them with a hellasious offset the leverage would get to them.

I've had mine for a little over 10 years I think. I've had stock wheels, chrome wheels which stuck out, billets, Chevy Z71s and have never ha a problem other than the original 14 rims would rub on the bottom of the spindle. Good luck to ya.

damn that was a lot of shady crap on shAIM's part.. 68 pages in the above link and you can read how they actually function on a couple pages.. like 2 or 3 into it you start seein what kind of crap they do to rip you off, and about 10-12 pages into it it gets real interesting

^^^on page 30something (i think) these 2 new users come into the forum boasting how great shAIM stuff is. it is eventually traced back threw ip's that the names were created from inside the shAIM building. the guy djdaudio is a genius. he even got into shAIM's webcams, made time delayed videos so he could see what there up to at other times. on page 60something were a former employee tells how he hates shAIM. how they were told to "sell, sell, sell" even if they knew it wouldnt fit. he really hates them cause at the time his wife had a miscarridge & he wasnt "allowed to make personal calls". some fucked up shit.

its a regular mini-truckin soap opera.
