lost wheel lock key

fellaz, I've lost my wheel lock key. How can I get this wheel lock off? Yes, I've been told that wheel shops have tools to remove it. However, I'm looking to do it myself if possible. See the pic for the wheel lock.

do you have an air hammer? air hammer it with a chissle bit in the direction to loosen it works geat, or chissle by hand, or a 12point chrome socket thats slightly larger then the lock nut.... beat it on with a hammer then remove with a breaker bar using a impact gun will just make the socket come off of the lug nut


ive even drilled them out also, ten years of wrench'n its common to have that complaint thats why i got the tool, i even think pepboys sells the tool now

weld a volkswagon lug-stud to it

weld a lug nut on it then just take it off ...i've had to do that plenty of times

Do you know the company the key was made by? You could always contact them for a replacement...the welding suggestions sound good too.........

whut i did on mine was take a dremel, and cut it in half, cut the top and bottom(not all the way down to the stud tho) and then take a flat head screw driver and pry it out.
