97 sonoma headlights

my headlights are screwed up one points up and one points down but when you hit the dimmer they flip flop back and forth if you can understand what im talkin about give me your ideas

I may be misunderstanding what you are saying. But It sounds like you have the wiring a bit screwed up. It sounds like one light is on the highbeam when the other is on low beam, then when you hit the dimmer switch it swaps sides. If so just change the wires around so that both sides match.

yea i figured it out the wires werent crossed the bulbs wernt all the way in i appreciate it though
