antenna

just curious what everyone does when they shave there antenna... i finally put a deck in the truck and now i cannot seem to get the tuner to work.. i plugged a antenna cable in but everywhere i route it its real fuzzy!

I shaved mine and I have one of the hidden antenna kits from Autoloc. I don't have it installed yet because I do not have my interior finished yet. I did hook it up before I shaved the antenna and it works just like the factory one for as much as I can tell. You might try ebay to get a cheap one or stylin concepts.

^ thats one way ive heard good and bad with those but havent had one to tell ya from personal experiance but anytime u shave a hide it it isnt going to be as good as it was in the factory location i put mine under my wiper cowl work ok wasnt the best but did its job i guess.

I had a hidden on my S10 back in tha day. It worked fine. But it didnt pickup as good as a regular. Im shaving my antenna soon but Im not putting anything to relace it. Satelite radio is the way to go. I wish I could get a cd player with no am/fm they both suck
