old school dash in new school rig.....

how do they get all the gauges to work? is it just cut and splice? or is there a trick to doing it? looking to put a little something something in the current yota we are building. thanks for the info.....

so do u go about getting these sending units? so basically its like a harness that goes from say old school bug dash n gauges to 93 yota clip or what?

u need the sending units off the old motor and what not. be aware some of the old cars are 6 volt and u have to get a voltage reducer.

had classic instruments re work the 50 ford gauges in my truck since im not very comfortable with wiring of any kind.i know this months minitruckin cover mazda owned by eli griffin was all done by himself so id ask him he could probably tell you alot more.you can find him on ssm screen name eli.good luck with the conversion they are really cool and very much worth the hassle when completed./mitch
