Im considering smoothing the entire dash and painting it. A few questions... 1: How hard and long does it take to remove the dash and 2: will a sand down to smooth then primer then sand then shoot do the trick? Can I do the same thing for all of my plastic trim? If you know where I cann find any sites that I can get help on this that would be great.

it took me 4 hours to get my dash out, they have a few bolts in wierd ass places. One thing u can do is scuff the dash, then spray it with a high build primer and sand that out but it will take a few coats to get it perfectly smooth. Hope that helps

Yeah that's all we did with my civic is sand smooth, spray bondo, 300 grit sand, and paint. Should work with amy hard plastic parts. Not good for vinyl or airbag covers.

depending on the color plastic and the color paint on priming. Really all you have to do is spray this paint adhesive then shoot the paint. The adhesive helps bond the paint to the plastic so it does flack and chip easy. Of course sand it good to get it smooth.
