chop top

i have an 78 chevy i think it would look cool with about a 2 or 3 inch chop top ,i have never done this before but im not scared to try, i got an extra cab in case im not sucessful if nebody has ever chopped a top on this body style truck can u give me some advice on how to chop it. i would like to just rake the windsheild back and run one piece side glass ,but most people tell me to just cut 2 inches out of it and get new glass ,any help would be greatly appreciated. johnboy

i did on on a 51 chevy pu it took abought 90 hrs so all i can say is take your time

do a photoshop of it first to see if you really like it. that would be smart considering you oculd see it first

theres a really good article in the new streettrucks on how to do one with all stock glass , when i read it i wanted to go start right away lol. good luck
