shaving a rain rail on a 520

i'm shaving the rain rail off of my 520 and i was just wondering how i would keep the roof on(weld, jb weld? i don't know) any info would be appreciated

weld it back together. just as any sheetmetal welding, go slow with tacks to prevent warping. if the gap is large, you may have to make a patch panel and weld that in. once the welding is ground smooth, hit it w/ duraglass to seal the welds, the finish with a plastic filler of your choice (ie Rage)
