I'm thinking when they switched from the squared off front end they changed to 6-lug - '96 maybe?

they switched after the 91 model year, but the only thing that changed was the bolt pattern. That makes 5 lug swaps easy

thats exactly the info that i wanted to know it opens up to a world of wheels instead of the stupidest bolt pattern ever made

My Dad had a 92 V-6, it had the 6-lug. So 6 lug has been the pattern since atleast 92.
