90 hatch coil problem

i keep burning up coils ive went throught 2 in a month. they get filled with black soot and just stop working, after i drive the car for about 10 min the check engine light comes on but if i kill the car and then start it right back up the light goes off for like 10 min. SOMEONE HELP ME WTF IS CAUSING THIS

The coil is in the distributer cap and the distributer goes through the head to connect to the cam so you have a leak from the distributer shaft. Take off the 3 bolts and get a distributer, not sure if seals are sold as a service item.

check the ignitor, it is located on the bottom side in the distributor, has 4 wires going to it. Sounds like a bad ignitor burning up the coil.
