what's up. I'm planning on bagging my 91 extended cab silverado in 2 months, but i got a few questions. Is a 2 link bad for my rear. and i'm going with firestones, i know there shitty but i'm on a budget cause i'm still in high school. But my other question is would 2500's be to small for front and back?

You shuold get 2600s for the front if you can. You will get more lift and a nicer ride. 2500s will be fine on the back if you run them forward on the link bars. Two links are great if you understand the drawbacks. No side to side, and you have to run a trac bar or panhard bar which will cause the rearend to shift as you lift or lower it.This can cause problems with rear wheels tucking. Look on IFCUSTOM.COM to see a trac bar. Yhis only shifts the rear about 1/2".Two links also cause a large change in pinion angle if setup incorrectly. This can cause problems with u joints and your driveline. The plus side of a two link is you can keep the stock gas tank and they are easy and inexpensive to install. They also save alot of room under the bed so you dont have to mount all of your tanks and compressors in the bed.

run a panhard for sure i used a two link on the back of my ext cab for about a week and didnt like the pinion angle so i changed it. but just make sure u take ur time when u build it. i would definately run 26's and shocks though.

I think 2600s are too big to mount that close to the frame in the rear. I get 15" of lift with my 2500s out back. Just an opinion though. Go to stud1y.com and look at jeys rear setup for some good pics of how your truck will need to be setup.

whatdude, your gonna run firestones because your on a budget? #1 firestones suck dog shit#2 im assuming you were gonna "settle" for less than slams due to money restrictions #3 slams are overpriced, over rated, and dont hold up (IMO)#4 go with conti techs, they are cheaper than firestones and they are a better bag than slams.

just giving you my opinion cuz i deal with these things everyday with my customers. good luck. call me if you have questions.
