Whats up fellas, im currently runnin a 3/4hp compressor with 12 gallon tank, im really thinkin of converting to a scuba/weld tank and gettin rid of the compressor. Is there any down falls to doing this? It just looks cleaner and like less of a hassle..give me some feed back thanks.

i run a nitrogen tank w/ a reserve tank in line and i cant be happier with the performance, fast and dont have to wait for a compressor. There are a few downfalls to it though, if it is a daily you might want to at least have a back up compressor. Most shops to exchange or fill the bottles are not opened on weekends, therefore if you run out on a Sat night you gotta wait till Monday. Also, if you have a line blow while your driving you can loose all the pressure before you can get to the bottle to turn it off. In addition to all this check to see how much compressed gas is in your area, mine cost $32.00 a bottle and i own my bottle, and you can blow it all in one night!! (done it). But everyone to their own.

Drag it till it breaks, fix it, and Drag more
