AC Compressor

I got the stock AC pump for my 92 Isuzu and i was wondering if it would work if i converded to work as a compressor

Dont see why it wouldnt. Just put an inline oiler on it and a water/oil seperator.

no it wont work for long. it has no internal oilpan and the oil coming in is not enough to oil the entire pump. its been done and people have used them for a long time in some cases but they eventually fail. your best bet is a York thats been modded and then you dont break down in the middle of bumphuk redneckville
