Hey guys, im an s10 guy and have installed air ride on countless S10's.......i have even done a few tahoe torsion set ups, and many mazda/mitsubishi set ups, but this will be my first newer chevy silverado job. Its got coils up front, with drop spindles, and DJM lower control arms. Im almost positive i can bolt the bag to the lower control arm but am not sure on what size upper cup i will need to run. And also what all is needed to lay out on a 20" rim with a 45 series tire. Inner fenders will have to come out for sure, but are there going to be any other front suspension mods i will have to do such as tie rod frame notch, any other notching or trimming? And will the cab need to be tunneled for the driveline? Also i noticed the tranny crossmember hangs below the frame a good amount, is there a company that makes a raised crossmember or will this have to be fabricated? Im asking these questions before i get the truck in the shop that way i have an idea on what will need to be done before it is actually here. I appreciate all responses and thank you in advance!

I THINK THE CUP IS LIKE 5" TALL YOUR GOING TO HAVE TO TRIM THE SPRING PERCH JUST A LITTLE SO THE BAG DONT RUB.THE CAB DOES NOT HAVE TO BE TUNNELED.MAKE SURE TO RAISE THE GAS TANK ABOUT 1 3/4" AND FOR THE TRANNY MOUNT AVS SELLS THEM GIVE THEM A CALL (559)486-5444 AND TRY TO GET SOME SMALLER TIRES LIKE A 35 SERIES BECAUSE CUTTING FENDER WELLS SUCKS ASS!

You can section the stock crossmember easily. Laying out on 20's is very easy. I am laying frame flat with a 22 thats the size of a 23 and have all stock suspension. No tierod problems. Raise the gastank and you will be fine. Oh yeah the xover pipe has to be raised too. If you want to buy a shorter x member KP Components sell one pretty cheap. The latest copy of sport truck has an article that will help you too.

mine has torsion brackets that i got from ekstensive metal works, work very nicely, been bagged 4 years. cups on bottom torsion plates on top trimmed about 2 inches out the sides of the coil spring mount.
