You may have the direction of the flow backwards, I don't think polarity is an issue with an electromagnetic device, your valves could be old and not seating properly. You could always try a few drops of pneumatic tool lubricant in the valves, make sure your tanks system isnt taking on moisture causing your tank to rust and blowing shit into your valves. Always use water seperators and filters, you use them on your $400 MAC Tool tools in your shop, use them on your prized posession also. Also, check the working pressure and rating on your valves. What brand are they? I've been seeing a lot of 250psi and 300 psi labels on some valves these days starting to pop up. Sometimes people do not read the specs right; a lot of times you will see 250psi which is the max pressure for the inlet, but the max differential pressure that the valve can reliably switch is only 0.8mPa, or roughly 110 psi. Going over that rating on an air suspension system is playing the air bag equivalent of russian roulette. Only run high quality equipment in your truck don't cut costs at safety's expense.
