TACO STEERING LINKAGE

I NEED SOME HELP ON BUILDING A WORKING STEERING LINKAGE FOR MY TACO.I HAD SOME TROUBLE WITH IT WORKING RIGHT WHEN IT WAS B/DED 3 INCHES NOW THAT ITS DROPPED EVEN MORE I T DOSENT WORK AT ALL.I ADDED A FEW KNUCKLES AND THAT DIDNT HELP MUCH EITHER.

i helped my friend do his 2 3/16" plus a 7/8" z, and all we did was shorten the piece that comes out of the firewall, you could always cut it at the firewall, at a steering nuckle there, then a rod on the frame with a heim to hold the steering rod after that ujoint.
