Another Hurricane Thread....

Just curious how many of ya'll are going to make donations, food, water, cloths, or maybe even blood?? Tonight 9-1-05 I made a $25.00 donation to the Red Cross and sometime soon im going to give Blood at the Red Cross... IF ya'll say you cant make a donation look at it like this.... Im 18 years old still in school and working at Autozone making 6 dollars a hour.... Travling 40 miles to and from work every day.... And i still made that $25.00 donation....

i dont make much either but im gonna donate 10 and i got alot of cloths i dont wear that other people could use and canned food, im also wondering about a guy on here screen name (bouoy) he lives in Carriere , Ms and its like 20-30 miles from new orelens just wondering if here is still alive

I just donated $50 to the Red Cross... i'm broke but i HAD to do something. Hope more people on here do the same...

My agency had everybody gather up their old uniforms (minus department patches), leather gear, boots, body armor, t-shirts, socks, etc.

Then we packed it all up and sent it to a sheriff's department in Mississippi where they had requested help.

Gary (bouy)is doing good...he called us yesterday. I am going to donate blood and some $$ as well.

at work today they put out a jug for loose change and sh*t but they also put barcodes on the registers and told us to ask people if they would like to make a donation... and today i was the only won who actually got people to donate money.... autozone is going to be doing this for a few weeks or so then the corprate is going to send a check to red cross or who ever.... soooo maybe a mutli billion dollar company can get as much money up as NFL has
