in-dash flipout screen which one is the best

lol well not to whore up my own thread but the panasonic is an all around good looking unit both open and close it looks good
and the remotes okay plus no extra boxes
and its not all that expensive soo maybe im going to start looking into that

last question is i currently have xm radio
will the normal panasonic adapter for the xm still work with the dvd unit?

Well if it was me i would go with pioneer,...i had one in my truck for about 2 years, avx 7000cd with a avm 8000r and a playstation. I never once had a problem with it and and i didnt pay that much for it. Yah Alpine looks better for what it is, but it haz more of a price tag. AND i have never been impressed with Kenwood. Sounds like you are shopping at Circuit City to me. AND jensen.....hmmmm....i dont know about that...i HAVE a JVC now (KD-av7010) and i am not disappointed with it in the slightest. HAS everything , DVD, DVD-R, MP3,wma, Vcd,...etc...SO, if you had to select between all that,, i would go with pioneer

Hey they have a buy it now Jensen on ebay for $430! For like $100 more you can get one with a tv tuner. A very good deal I think. I saw it at best buy and the picture quality was really nice. But thats about all I know about it.

I have always run alpine, I have the new Alpine IVA-901. the alpine has the best screen on the market is what I am told

i have new kenwood 717 in my lincoln i havent had it a while but i havent had any problems with it i was going to but the new pioneer but i wanted the 7 in screen instead of the 6.5 on the pioneer i like the kenwoods if you want to pay the money the jenson is garbage one of my friends have it

Eclipse or pioneer. But i have been a pioneer man all of my life and then i got an eclipse and i havent looked back. Eclipse is top notch all of the way.

Running the Kenwood xdvd-815 in my caddy, the thing is awsome, great picture, eq section, signal to noise is very good, touch screen multiple a/v inputs, multiple video outputs, 7" screen, sirus and xm compatible. Kenwood also makes the music keg which works right off the head unit and stores over 20,000 songs digitally, i have that in the vehicle as well and love it. Also if you have an ipod, kenwood produces an ipod adapter that allows you to use the ipod through the head unit as well as control it from the head unit.

I just got the clarion 7" motorized and it is bad ass. The picture is clear and installation was simple. just my opinion but I love mine.

still cant decide if its going to be kenwood or the panasonic

only 2 things keeping me from getting a pioneer...the smaller screen and they look like an ugly grey box pioneer gets my vote for quality but they arent going to win any beauty contest lol

has anybody heard any good/or bad things about the panasonic?
