EAI cylinders suck

this is my second set of cylinders and the front set keeps leaking i was told not to oil them i took them appart and the seals and everythign are good but they leak out of th ebottom of the cylinder where the filter goes in the bottom cap. and to top it off they wear out like crazy after a few months the bushing in the bottom cap that holds the rod from goin side to side wears oiut bad and it sounds liek a bad axel noise is it just a bad design or is it just a bad set of cylinders. and then they send me a rebuild kit and its nothin close to what they have in there origonally. so after i get the rebuild kit there like i can sell you 2 for 169 and there not even new there rebuilt. whats the deal with these cylinders???????

I have sold a few pairs of them and have had alot of problems with them also. EAI is not as good as they used to be.

i had a rebuild kit from the first set of cylinders i havent used and rebuilt the one cylinder that was leakin and it sealed then it was leaking from the top cap of the cylinder so i replaced that and it seems to be ok now im so happy i didnt have to buy another set of cylinders the first set the cylind4ers were ovaled and didnt seal at all but im still pissed cause the bucshings wear out fast on the bottom part of the cylinder but what are you gonna do do they sell new bushings?

Im in the same damn boat as you Ben!!!! First my front left blew apart for no reason! Mind you that i baby my system and mine also leak from the filter, and i NEVER beat on it. Called EAI, and got the run-around of my life! Ryan that works there is a friggin tool! Now as of last week after i got back from Indy, my right rear did the same thing! Im sick and tired of dealing with these idiots and their shitty ass products! O yea! And by the way..... Give EAI a call and see who answers!!! It aint EAI anymore!! LOL
