which wire on the coil is the tach signal

Its the negative. I had mine hooked up backwards and it didnt give a signal, hooked it up to the negative side and it works just fine.

I'm running an MSD system, so it might be slightly different, but the coil should be the same. Onyl odd thing is some morning it needs to warm up before ti will read accurately.
